West Virginia Music Hall of Fame Induction

On November 16, 2013, Wayne was honored by his home state of West Virginia, by being inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame. It is an honor Wayne and Connie are very proud of and were able to share with many of their children, who were in attendance. Son, John, also a native of WV, played drums, daughters Elizabeth and Amanda sang background vocals. Daughters Mallory and Jenn, helped with the management. Son in law, Doug, shot video and made pictures. Grandson, Domanick, provided delightful entertainment and was a constant reminder that music transcends through the generations. Charlie McCoy not only presented Wayne with his induction award, but he also played bass with his left hand and harmonica with his right hand while singing vocals. John Austin came along to help out with vocals and guitar. We want to thank everyone at the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame for the kindness they showed Wayne, Connie and their families.
